About the Author - Awen Little is a new author and her first book is now available to order from Amazon and also direct from the author.
Awen is married with two daughters and currently lives near Southwell in Nottinghamshire. She comes originally from Carmarthen in Wales and is a fluent Welsh speaker. She is a full – time working mother so Sid has to be worked on at weekends and after the girls go to bed… . The idea for Sid came from a manic morning when trying to get ready for work but not being able to find a couple of pairs of matching socks for the girls – I know many of you have been there !
Awen is a parent – governor at Lowe’s Wong Junior School in Southwell. She is passionate about getting children interested in reading at an early age by making it fun for them which can encourage a passion for reading for life.
Awen’s interests are music, theatre, photography, travel ( especially wine tours of France ) , walking by the sea and occasionally getting some sleep on a Saturday morning. Awen also has an interest in psychology and graduated with a BSc Psychology at Swansea University and last year became a Licensed Practitioner of Neuro – Linguistic Programming.
She hopes that Sid will be fun for children and for parents and teachers too !
