New Writers UK - Members
Our members fall into the following categories:
The Steering group consists of our Chairperson (Karen Wright), pictured here, Treasurer, Secretary, Technical Director and Executive Members. These six people started our group and are key decision makers in steering the group down a successful path.
Our Members consist of authors who joined the group with a view to assisting one another in the creative experience, sharing their views and info and participating with marketing where necessary. You can meet them during Meet the Author sessions and at our yearly Festival.
Our Friends consist of established writers who have contributed and supported us significantly and who, with their encouragement, have given our New Writers help and information. At our Festivals, our Friends act as speakers and give informative talks on their experiences as writers.
Our Associates consist of people working in the writing industry such as copy writers and proof readers. These are associates of ours and we recommend their services.

We have a forum where you can get the kind of information you need and its run by like minded authors and artists who can help you. You just need to register on our forum for more help and advice.
Every year we hold a Festival in Nottinghamshire and you are most welcome to come along, listen to our speakers, ask for information about writing and publishers or just chat to our authors.
